Florida Case Explained: Moms Turn In Sons After $50,000 School Damage
In Deltona, Florida, two boys (ages 12 and 13) broke into an elementary school during the night and vandalized the building, mainly the library and media center. The damage was later estimated at around $50,000, including broken computers, destroyed furniture, and scattered books.
Police released surveillance footage while investigating the case. After seeing the images, the boys’ own mothers recognized them and made the decision to report them to authorities. They cooperated fully and brought their sons in for questioning.
The boys later admitted to what they had done and are now facing charges such as burglary, trespassing, and criminal mischief.
The story went viral not just because of the damage, but because the parents chose accountability and reported their own children. PICTURES BELOW
